Welcome to PCC’s Winter Charity Challenge 2023!
We are absolutely delighted that Clevedon & District Road Cycling Club and Bristol South Cycling Club are joining us this year. It will be our best one yet!
Kicking off on Monday 30th January, we will be climbing as many metres as we can for 4 weeks, finishing on Sunday 26th February. Each club has its own Strava team and to make it even more exciting, there will be a live stream of each club’s totals on our website. The club with the most metres in the bank at the end of the challenge will win the much-coveted place at the top of the podium!
Your metres can be climbed in the real world or virtually – as long as you are on a bicycle it all counts. The teams will be a little uneven, so once we know how many have signed up in each club, we will agree a way to make the competition fair.
This year we are raising money for Jessie May in memory of a much-loved member of PCC, James Short. James was a trustee and ambassador for Jessie May and I’m sure he would have been delighted that we are raising money for such a special charity.

2. Donate £10 to Jessie May Just Giving page – please put your name against the donation so we can keep track of who has donated. The donation is a suggested donation so please feel free to give whatever you can, but we would ask that you donate something if you are taking part.
We know you will all have so much fun with this one, Yes, your legs will be in bits by the end of February, but you will start spring with the best climbing legs you've ever had! Best of luck!
