As part of our 10th anniversary celebrations, this year's Club 100 has a very special feel to it.
Our good friends at ABUS will be hosting the event for us on 12th July at their Portishead HQ on Old Mill Road. As well as the traditional 100 mile flat route, there will be a choice of a 70 mile and a 50 mile flat route that hopefully will encourage a big turnout on the day for our biggest set piece event of the year.
The rides will all start and finish at the ABUS HQ. We have suggested start times of 8:30am for the 100; 9:30am for the 70; and 10am for the 50 mile routes. These times will give you ample time to complete your chosen route ahead of the BBQ and perhaps even give you time to nip home to change if you'd like.
Here's a link to our Strava Page for ride details:
So, what's the big deal this year??
ABUS are holding an open day for local Bristol clubs as part of the launch of a new helmet at the Tour de France. There will be a host of things laid on for all participants, including:

A barista coffee van and cake at the start to give you an early caffeine boost.
Changing facilities, including showers
Pizzas from noon
Free socks for the first 100 riders
The UK launch of a new ABUS helmet
Demo helmets available to try for size
and then, from 4pm until 7pm
Exclusive PCC Club BBQ. ABUS are providing the BBQ, PCC will provide a selection of drinks for members.
It would be terrific to have a big turn out for the event which is why we have a choice of routes with plenty of time to complete your chosen ride. If you are not riding on the day then why not come along for the BBQ and catch up on the chat.
