Sash and Clare raced Odd Down Cat 3/4 on Saturday 12th February.
Very windy conditions made a tight bunch sit together. Break of two tried their luck, but Sasha did a few hard turns to pull them back. Clare decided normal racing wasn't tough enough so loosened her cleats for that slippy slide effect.
Last lap came, Sasha had recovered and moved through the group into position, came off the bottom bend in 5th place and hammered the pedals to hit 900watts. She missed the victory by half a bike length. A well deserved 2nd place and Clare finished just back a bit.
